Yes, as a matter of fact, we do

We have 15+ Admins... spanning multiple groups.

We rely on push notifications of events. Additionally, we rely on the event acknowledgements for notification suppression.

We don't expect our admins to keep a browser open all day long on their phone or any device for that matter.

Email notifications are excellent "push" method.
Everyone of those admins can go to "profile" link in upper right corner of web browser area and setup media and messages tabs.
You can as well define you own methods of pushing those messages over any transport layer which you can use/build ..
