    Scheduled Reports History Problems

    I'm looking to get a scheduled report of problems that were triggered with a particular tag on all hosts in a host group within the past 7 days. It doesn't seem there's a dashboard that can filter problems in that way to use in the scheduled reporting.

    Am I missing something? If you know of a workaround, I'd like to hear about it.

    I think you should create a new dashboard using the Problems widget.

      I tried creating a dashboard using the Problems widget. Selecting it to show "Recent Problems" only shows me problems that have resolved recently. Showing "Problems" only shows active problems that have not resolved. "History" gives me all problems since the beginning of time in that host group. The History option is the closest to what I want in that it gives me all problems including the ones that have resolved, but I need a way to narrow the time window to the previous week.

        Since what I want to do doesn't seem to be possible I had to think outside the box for a bit. The Triggers I want to focus on are on items that have graphs. So I built a dashboard full of graphs of each of the items I care about. Peaks on the graphs mean that there was a problem, flat line graphs mean there was no problem. The scheduled report function allows me to select "previous day" and "previous week" for the dashboard. I'm not sure why the Problems dashboard doesn't do the same. Maybe I'm missing something. For now, it works in that I can get the info I want...its just now how I'd like to view it.
