Server migration from 3.4.14 to 6.2.1

Tell me if it is possible to migrate all the settings, configuration, from the v3.4.14 server to v6.2.1? Server 3.4.14 was deployed from an ovf template, while 6.2.1 was built from a vmdk file, if that matters.

Everything is possible if you spend enough time (and money). It will not be trivial task and as long as I see, would include also installing a regular server instance to be able to do DB upgrades etc... And then why would you use an appliance after all that..:P These appliances are not really meant for real work. :P

I think you have 2 options:
      1) start from scratch
1.1) in Zabbix 3: exporting custom Tempates and Hosts
1.2) in Zabbiz 6: Import Custom Templates and Hosts
1.3) on monitored stations/devices: adjust confs pointing to new server

      2) Direct Upgrade
On the official upgrade page it is written:

      Direct upgrade to Zabbix 6.2.x is possible from Zabbix 6.0.x, 5.4.x, 5.2.x, 5.0.x, 4.4.x, 4.2.x, 4.0.x, 3.4.x, 3.2.x, 3.0.x
      Then:
      2.1) Backup
      2.2) Repo update
      2.3) Upgrade zabbix components
      2.4) Check access/data, etc.
