Zabbix remote monitoring

Hi All,

i want to monitor a server witch dont belong to my local network
like to remot monitoring
i tried to search but there is no good tutoriel or not well explained

any one can help me/guideme with step by step process or how to do it in generaly

Install agent, update server's ip in configuration file, add host to monitoring.

Not sure what you are running into, if you can install an agent on the remote system it should really be no different outside of making sure the firewall is permitting access.

sry i just solve it
i mean i set up a remote monitoring with only active agent passive agent didnt work

this is the list of the autodiscover process
in the agent colomn it shows none witch seems to be illogical cuz he just discover the host through agent.
also he cant communicate with agent

the server also shows no agent witch is wierd cuz i installed the agent

Check if agent host is able to receive incoming tcp/10050 connections. Check if agent is configured with correct server address.
