    MikroTik: SNMP discovery duplicated

    Greetings.

I'm monitoring a mikrotik router via SNMP. I have S2S VPNs configured on it and a restart daily routine (every day de router automatically restarts). When it restarts zabbix makes the discovery process and l2tp interfaces changes they OIDs, what makes me have several items of the same connection (one of them working, the others not).

Is there a way to merge the items by name or something similar?

I left screenshots to illustrate the issue.

Key is a unique thing in items, so you need to have your keys not changing during discovery. If index changes, but names not, then you can try to set key to contain name instead of index.

      Thanks for the reply cyber.

I know keys are unique and this is the reason of the "duplicated" items (not duplicated for zabbix because they have unique OIDs). If I set the key with {#IFNAME} instead of {#SNMPINDEX} the new discovery item isn't added due to duplicated keys. So I need a way to add the "new" item without losing the history. I tried with overrides but doesn't work (maybe I made something wrong).

      Thanks again!
