I'm comfortable with the basics of Zabbix. Now I had the idea of going a bit deeper. Currently we use the free Veeam Backup Agent to backup a few machines, after finishing the job I receive an e-mail with the result. At the end of the month I browse through the e-mails an count the successful and the failed ones for each machine.
Now I have seen the Zabbix Community Template for Veeam Agent (https://github.com/zabbix/community-...rosoft_windows). Which Zabbix function/report/service would be most suited to achieve the described functionality. Basically I just need to know at the end of the month how many backups per machine have been successful and how many failed. As per usual, a backup sometimes needs a retry, if the retry is successful, the the daily backup is counted as successful. If for whatever reason there would be no backup it should be counted as failed. If that is too complicated, than I can calculate that easily because the sum of successful + failed should be the length of the month.
