Hello everyone,
we're currently running Zabbix 6.0.5 which we installed from packages (Ubuntu).
Now we wish to enable the Report Manager to send scheduled reports.
I read the zabbix documentation and it seems to me that I'd first have to download & extract the source archives and then compile the service using ./configure --enable-webservice. The only source available for the 6.0 version is the LTS 6.0.9 version.
(see: 3 Installation from sources (zabbix.com))
My question is the effect of running the configure script from the 6.0.9 sources on my 6.0.5 environment,
I'm a bit worried that I'll lose configuration or corrupt the zabbix installation somehow.
Does someone have experience with this?
Many thanks
