Zabbix 6.2 HA - can passive server execute Syncer, Housekeeper,

Hi, I just want to know if there is a way to execute the HouseKeeper and Syncer process only in the Passive node.

No, those processes are executed only by active node. Only process that is active on passive node is for checking HA status and taking over if needed...
If you think a bit ... syncer processes sync data between caches and DB, there is no active caches (Config cache being in memory of active server... ) on passive server, nothing to sync...
Do you think that executing housekeeper on other host would take less time? I doubt... It still boils down to your DB speed, I think.

Not for less time, just for dispatch work to less load server.

Zabbix Active -> Getting all info, processing triggers, regexp, etc...

Zabbix Passive -> Cleaning the database, little by little

Of course they are as switchover, as long as I know, depends on DB data (all HA nodes update their "heartbeat"), it has to be the same DB for both.. And it would really go against all master/slave concept, if you would connect to slave and do updates there..
