The operation of exporting data to external files

    Hello Fellas !

I've looking around but couldn't find answer or either solution for my question, maybe someone could help me.
I'm wondering if its possible to gather data from exact period of time and export it somehow to external file, csv, json etc.

Let's say we've time frame 01.01.2022 till 01.03.2022 of server. I'm checking graph of cpu usage.
Can i somehow export this data to CSV of that period of cpu usage ?
If yes, is it possible to configure on what frame it will be exported, 1 day = 1 data(%24h(average of 24h)) or 2 days = 2 data (%12/12(average of 12h).

Thank you for all help and i hope there is solution

It depends on your history and trends keeping settings. if you globally set history to 7 days, then only 7 days of data is kept, after that it is recalculated to trends and for each hour min/max/avg is saved. That is of course for the data types that would support such thing... No trends for logs etc..
If this timeframe is recent and you have still all history, you can select to view data instead of graph and then you could also copy it and save somewhere... Or if you know your itemid-s, do a direct query to DB and export as CSV...

you can also configure real-time export of data ... https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...al_time_export
A load of disk space needed etc...

Point is, that i don't want to export real-time data. I would need to export real-time data for every host if i would always need to have data from them !

If you need to send a report of first and second quarter of this year how host/server was working. %lifetime, %down, avarage host response time by day etc.
      1Day : avarage resposne time : 127 ms
      2Day : .... etc.
How would you export it from zabbix ?

You could not set a real-time gather because you wouldn't know you need this data now.

It is not possible to do so ?

Maybe someone, who has worked more with reporting, has answer you. I would say, it is not something you can do out of the box...
