How to install the zabbix 6.0 agent on Debian 7 ?

I would like to know if there is an agent available in .deb format for this version of os? I have tried the tar.gz way but I have a multitude of errors that are not appreciated in the design of my ansible script.

Not available by Zabbix, and I'm pretty sure not anywhere else either.

The latest official agents for Debian Wheezy seem to be (http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/):

    - 3.0.32 LTS (from March 2021)
    - 3.4.15 (from November 2018)

For compiling the agent from the sources there are the listed requirements: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...irements#agent

May I ask why you need such a new agent on an old system? Just curious.

Oh no, so compilation remains the only option. And I need this because where I am there are a lot of servers running old centos 6, Debian 7 and more. I'm writing an ansible script to automate all this but the debian part is a problem for me.

Yeah, just a reminder that unless you specifically need some agent features that only exist in newer agents, the 3.x agent is compatible with 6.x server: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../compatibility
