    Monitor esxi host behind Firewall

Hi guys, i would like to ask if someone knows how can i monitor a esxi host and its vms, my set up is as follows:

Zabbix-Server running on a ubuntu 20.04 to which router i have acces.

I can monitor my business vmware just fine with the template, activating vmware monutor and the correct macros. so i get evrything i need from the esxi host and its vms.

Various VPS which run active agent and im able to monitor no problem.

Now, i have other clients which i give remote assistance, and i would like to monitor their esxi that sits behind a firewall, the firewall beeing the isp router which the isp doesnt want to give acces to since they run CG-NAT so i cant open ports.

My initial thoughts were to install the active agent into the esxi host, so the agent creates the connection, but looking at the vmware templates, discoveries not seem to work.

Any suggesttions on achieving this or shall i just install agents in all the vms ? and in that case what should i do in order to monitor the esxi itself?

    Any help is apreciated.

    Thanks for your time.
