    Template Openwrt Wifi

    Hello everyone.

I'm kind of new to this area and I'm struggling to understand how to use a new template.
Here's the thing: I've a Dragino MS14 running a zabbix-agent and reporting to a zabbix-server installed on an ubuntu machine (at AWS). Everything is working properly (the agent is on active mode and uses a Linux OS Active Template).

But I want to use this zabbix-wifi-extra: https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/zabbix

Were do I load it? On the server side, from what I understood.
I saw that on zabbix 1.8 you had this option (to load a xml) to load a new template, but currently, on my zabbix server 2.4, I can't find it.

    I'd appreciate your help.

    Hi,

Download template that you want to import. (It needs to be in .XML format)
Then go to Configuration -> Templates -> Import (search for button under search bar)

When you have found it, click on <Browse> in Import file bar, find downloaded Template file, click open and then import.

      Hi Robert.

      Thank you for your reply.
I've done that and now I've the template on the template list.
      Now, here is the problem:
I've configured my Dragino as zabbix-agent on active mode. I also have a Auto-dicovery rule so that any agent with a host name like dragino-wifi will be associated with this Wifi template, whenever it connects to the server.
All good, the hosts are always able to connect to the server and receives the correct template. But this "Wifi template" does not contain any Items to monitor, it only has some item prototypes under a Wifi Discovery Rule.
This way, I don't have any information about the acces point on my dragino.

      Any ideas on why?
Do I have to run something else on the agent?

      Again, thanks...
