Zabbix SNMP integration with Lenovo XClarity

    Hi all,

I'm pretty new with Zabbix. use version 6.0

I would like to connect the zabbix with Lenovo Xclarity by SNMP V1.
    so,
i make a new host configure the port (161) in both sides (xclarity and zabbix) and also the community name to "public"
i opened a tcpdump on the zabbix server side and i ineed see the traps comming from xclarity but, in zabbix client i see that zabbix
does not connect to xclarity (red "SNMP" sign instead of green)
    no FW in that enviroment.

can you please advise what i'm missing here?
i have been working about 5 days to solve that issue with no luck )=

    Thank you.

I think the SNMP turns green if it can poll snmp items. I can't find that template, does it have any polled items? If so, you can test function with snmpwalk or simmilar command line tools.

      Thank you for your replay.

Finally, i succeed to connect the Zabbix to Xclarity.
now, i would like to see traps (no mettaer what) just to see that i'm able to see it on the dashboard.

so i made new template with a new trigger that supposed to catch all the traps ==>
      trigger: last(xcc template/snmptrap<regex>)=0 but

i'm pertty sure that is not the correct one for cathing any text traps from device.. (i see them in tcpdump..)

      can you please advise?

Thank you very much for the help

Looks like OP never configured snmptrapd for server...
