Zabbix DM notifications to Slack user
Hi,
I have configured Slack notifications with the help of this guide: https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/slack
My Zabbix instance now correctly reports problems etc. to one of our Slack channels. However, we have multiple users in our Zabbix instance and personally I would also like to receive private/DM notifications in addition to the channel notifications. I tried setting this up by going to my User settings > Profile > Media > Add Slack > Send to: myslackusername but this doesn't give me DM notifications in Slack. I tried a couple of options for Send to field​:
- My slack username (not to be confused with Slack display name). According to this Slack article, usernames are deprecated so I'm not sure if this should work in the first place.
- My slack display_name. For example: john_doe
- My slack user id. Which is something like: U48XZSDA2
Tried those combinations with and without "@"
Does anyone know if what I'm trying to accomplish is possible in Zabbix? If it should be possible, which syntax should I use in my Zabbix account profile Send to
