Zabbix monitor mdadm or RAID, rebuild

    Hi,

Is there anyway for zabbix to monitor raid set, software raid mdadm, to notify us if there is failed raid, rebuild raid set, or a failed disk?

    Thank you.

    Zabbix 3.0
    Centos 6.7

    Yes,

    2 Items:
vfs.file.regmatch[/proc/mdstat,raid] to check if RAID exists

vfs.file.regmatch[/proc/mdstat,_] to check if there is a drive with state other than U (U = Up, _ = Down)

    Trigger:
    {vfs.file.regmatch[/proc/mdstat,raid].last(0)}>0 and {vfs.file.regmatch[/proc/mdstat,_].last(0)}>0
if trigger fires, something is wrong with your RAID

But: not quite sure if this works on all versions of /proc/mdstat, so if a _ occurs in there other than the drive states, it may trigger false positives.
