Best way to apply an updated template

    Hi,

I applied a template to several hosts.
But, since, I modified this template to add some exclusions.
I removed the template from the host and I add it again to have my modification.
But, is there another way to do this ?
    Thanks,

When you change the template, you do not need to disconnect it and reconnect it to hosts. Changes in the template are immediately reflected on the hosts(this is the meaning and purpose of the template!). Of course there are nuances related to LLD....

      Thanks for your quick response
But, it's curious, I don't have automatic replication.
I use the template "Windows by Zabbix agent".
I added an exclusion to remove "OneSyncScv_xxx" alert.
But, the template are not immediately reflected.
If I disconnect it and reconnect it to a host, it's ok ...
Maybe , there is a way to force the "reflected" of template ?
      Thanks again

I guess, it is not reflected right away, as there are discoveries, which need to run to "not discover" some services any more. Also, depending on settings, not discovered items may be kept for predefined time, setting "keep lost resources" to 0 shoudl delete them right when they are not discovered any more.
