Migrating Data from Zabbix 6.2 Appliance to Production

    Morning all!

We've been using the 6.2 Zabbix Appliance as a "test" for a month and it's been demonstrated to be a really useful tool as we've worked out how to integrate it, and streamline our processes around it's use.

We're now standing up our own production version and I've been asked if I could migrate all the data from the "test" appliance to the new ubuntu/mysql production instance - despite me making it clear at the start that this wasn't something we were not going to do, and I was only going to be migrating the configuration (templates, hosts, triggers) over. However, the historical problem logs & resolution comments have been found to be very useful.

Are there any detailed guides that I can follow on how to do this? a quick check (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...faq?hl=migrate ) implies that

A: Dump data only (for MySQL, use flag -t or --no-create-info), create the new database using schema files from Zabbix and import the data.

should work, but i'm not really a DB administrator and my google fu is failing.

    Thanks in advance!

See https://majornetwork.net/2022/01/mov...bbix-database/ for an example case of dumping the database and using the dump for a new Zabbix installation.
