Zabbix Server Frontend Installation "Cannot connect to the database"

Hello,

I am currently trying to install a Zabbix Server and this error appears during the frontend installation.




I use:
CentOS Stream 8
Apache 2.4.37
PHP 8.1.13
Zabbix 6.0.11
MariaDB Server 10.6.11

Ports:
443/tcp 3306/tcp 10050/tcp 10051/tcp 80/tcp

MariaDB database character/collation:



Since the database is called zabbixdb I also changed the DBName in the .conf to zabbixdb.

SELinux is also disabled.

Anyone got an idea how to fix this issue?

See the installation procedure in zabbix.com: https://www.zabbix.com/download?zabb...ysql&ws=apache

You seem to have different character set from the instructions. Drop the database and start again with the correct character set.
