    Filesystem monitoring

    Hye,

I tried to monitoring %free space on a Linux filesystem and a Windows C: drive.

I create the following items :

    vfs.fs.size[/home,pfree] for Linux
    vfs.fs.size[c:,pfree] for windows

Both of them are flagged "not supported".

    Any ideas ?

If that's not correct, what's the right approach to monitor free disk space in percentage under Windows & Linux ?

    Thanks 2 all

Looks to me like Percent free is not supported by ZabbixW32.exe
Zabbix Win32 Agent Version 1.1 Build of Jun 5 2006

        zabbix server = 1.1.3

Upgrade your Windows agent to 1.1.3 to make it work.

            zabbix server = 1.1.3
You should use a Win32 agent more recent (see http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthre...ighlight=pfree )

For example NSIS install packages from Scotty

            Cheers,

ok, thanks to all for your answers.

              it's ok now.

instead of using the windows binaries included in the tar.gz, i use the one on the download page [ windows binaries 1.1 ], believing that there were the most up-to-date.

              thanks again.

I'm not having any luck using pfree on 1.1.4 server and client on XP. When creating an item Zabbix agent, vfs.fs.size[c:,pfree], Num Float, my results are 0 however on the server doing the following:
                -su-2.05b# zabbix_get -s dino -k vfs.fs.size[c:,pfree]
                83.892256

So it works on the server...

If you look at the item definition, is there a custom multiplier set? If so, it's not at 0 is it?

The multiplier is disabled, I tried enabling it and adding 1 without any luck as well. I'm completely stumped.
