/etc/zabbix nearly empty after fresh install

For a school project, I've got to install zabbix server on a Fedora 36 server edition. For some reason, I get stuck on the same step every time because /etc/zabbix is (nearly) empty. the zabbix_server.conf file is in /etc/ not /etc/zabbix/
    The guide's I followed are: https://www.zabbix.com/download?zabb...ysql&ws=apache and https://bestmonitoringtools.com/how-...entos-or-rhel/
For another project, I successfully used the last guide on centos 8.

There is no package for Fedora 36 in Zabbix official repository. I think the packages you installed are not Zabbix official ones. And, the instructions you referenced are for RHEL 9. If you set up a repository for a different OS it will not work. If you want to build Zabbix server on Fedora 36, build the rpm packages yourself or install from source.
