Issues with new item and new trigger

Setting up a Zabbix Server on my test environment and I ran into an issue : When creating a new item and a new trigger I am unable to pop the trigger on my linux box with a quick "fallocate -l 8G test.img"

I've searched the forums and have found some help : https://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthr...low+disk+space

But it just doesn't seem to solve my issue. This is running on the Zabbix server with it's agent enabled. Its "ActiveServer" in the config is still set to 172.0.0.1 since it's on the same server :/

Any ideas?
