I want to use Zabbix in a very specific manner. I want it to connect using SSH on remote Linux computers and check if a service is running or not. No agents, no SNMP. Just a good old SSH connection and a check if a service is running.
Can Zabbix do that?
I already have a clean Zabbix installation running on a Debian machine. I followed this guide
Please let me know if what I want to do is possible and how can I achieve it.
