Hi everybody,
I am managing a medium-sized instance of Zabbix (around 500-1,5k NVPS). Often, when we're making some changes to the discovery rules (like preprocessing or adding new item prototypes), we have to wait a really long time (even some hours) for the change to take action on discovered items. I'd like to understand how I can force the discovery rules to update the "discovered items".
Also - could somebody explain what does LLD queue stands for? I was wondering why it is reaching enormous numbers (like 20 millions) whilst the Zabbix queue panel shows almost no items waiting. It is interesting that If I restart the instance, the queue falls to zero and then grows again.
Thanks

So easiest is to temporarily change that check period, wait until its triggered and then change back to longer period.
