SNMP monitoring - $1 and $2 is included in the item names

    Hi!

I would like to monitor a Cisco ASR1001 device. It cannot measure some parameters of the factory Cisco template, but I found a "Cisco ASR 1006" template on the community github.
My problem with this, however, is that the names of the items include the variables $1 and $2. The template does not require a macro.

I downloaded the template from here:

And the attached picture shows what the problem is.
Any ideas what could be the problem?

    Hi,
Maybe you could try to check on the discovery rule, the item prototype for that sensor and replace the $1, $2, for some macro that might make sense to that sensor, for example: (check the template for interface discovery, there you have description for each interface, the same could apply here)

If Zabbix provides these as v6 compatible (even if they are "community templates", they have to be approved, as long as I know...), they have done lousy job.. these positional macros are deprecated already in v5 and usage is removed in v6... so there should not be any v6 template that contains them..
You need to replace those with appropriate LLD macros in discovery, so you get correct names again.
