    Dynamic Index?

So we have a pair of large production printers here that we monitor via SNMP. At the moment we monitor for a 'stopped' status however this generates a lot of false positives as this status includes things like out of paper and in particular, the output 'stacker' tray is full.
What i'd like to do is separate these errors out so we get individual flags for each.
However, the problem we have is the last part of the OID changes each time, take for example the stacker issue I mentioned:

    Code:
SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.43.18.1.1.8.1.145 = STRING: "StackerStaplerAK Lower Tray is full"
SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.43.18.1.1.8.1.142 = STRING: "StackerStaplerAK Lower Tray is full"
SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.43.18.1.1.8.1.143 = STRING: "StackerStaplerAK Lower Tray is full"
SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.43.18.1.1.8.1.139 = STRING: "StackerStaplerAK Lower Tray is full"
SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.43.18.1.1.8.1.141 = STRING: "StackerStaplerAK Lower Tray is full"
These are the last 4 times this error has been generated.

I intend to use this for things like paper jams as well but suspect that given the nature of the printer, it will generate different OID's for the location of the jam (however somewhat annoyingly these printers are so good that, in the week i've spent setting up triggers and items for these machines, they've not jammed yet!)

I've looked at the documentation for dynamic indices but I must confess I'm a bit lost as im a total zabbix noob and things like these expressions and macros are kind of new to me, certainly in this context.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to approach this?

[EDIT] Sorry forgot to mention we're running v2.4
