    snmp cisco

    Sorry to disturb everyone

I have a problem where the supervisor wants to see the status of each swtich port through grafana, including packet exceptions causing the port to close.
At present, the only items I monitor are up/down, and there is no way to know whether the port is closed because the packet is abnormally down or because the user shuts down and shows down.

I'm not familiar with Cisco devices, only know that there is port-security feature, can he do my thing?

The supervisor is hoping to see something like a red light on Grafana for Port down, a yellow light for an abnormal shutdown of the Port, and a green light for a normal Port

How do I get there, or what do I need to do with my Cisco device?

Port-security, Cisco vendor answered to turn on this function, become each port to bind the user MAC address, so the supervisor is not willing to open.

I have my own Internet query, turn on this function, but do not need to bind user MAC address, it seems that I can do the function I want.

I want to know what items are there for everyone to monitor Cisco devices? Can you share it with me for reference?
It is also possible to let the supervisor know which projects SNMP can monitor

    Thank you
