Discovery of DHCP Devices with Unique Criteria causes duplicate interfaces

    Hi Team,

I am discovering cable modems on a DHCP range, with unique criteria being the results of an SNMP query for the serial number.

When these modems get a new IP address, the new address gets added to the host as a new interface. The problem is that the default interface does not change to the newly discovered one.

This causes Zabbix to determine the host to be down, which is no good.

Is there a configuration option I've missed to *replace* the new discovered interface, as opposed to appending it to the list?

    Thanks
