This is quick step by step how to Upgrade Zabbix monitoring system from version 2.4 > 3.0

been tested on:
-Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS
-CentOS 7

IMPORTANT!
Before starting ensure you have FULL backup, of Zabbix.

Handy to have Notepad++ to view the file properly

Confirm upgrade 2.2 to 3.0

I can confirm, that it is working for upgrade from version 2.2 to 3.0 (Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS) directly without any problems.
