VMware Discovery of VM's and duplicate hosts
I am testing the VMware template in our lab enviroment and I noticed something that concerns me. I am hoping someone can help.
To make a long story short : When the VMware template runs it discovers all VM's, adds it to the list with Discover VMware VMs : <Name of VM> with vmware guest as the template.
I have a auto registration configured as well to add to host if its linux,etc...
So the VMware template runs and discovers all VM's and the auto-registation sees the request from the VM and registers it as well and now i have 2 listings of the same vm. Shouldn't it update the existing VM? (which btw is also unable to be manually updated)
Any thoughts? Is this the normal process for the VMware template? Why is Zabbix allowing 2 hosts with the same name?
