    ICMP ping - Weird Issue

    Please see attached image

This is a normal ICMP ping. I dont understand this graph. This should be 1 or 0?!?

This is a 3G router wit a static IP address that we are monitoring. Our ADSL lines are fine, shows 1 for up or 0 for down, but this(the only 3G router that I do monitor), fluctuates between 0.7 & 0.99.

Please can someone explain this to me

There are three ping related items normally used, icmpping (up/down), icmppingloss (0-100%) and icmppingsec (latency).

Which are you showing? You seem to be expecting icmpping (0 or 1), but I'm guessing it is something different? You can see perhaps more easily going to "latest data" and using the graph link there, and look at each of the three for that device and time period. This might be a pre-defined graph of something else (there's no key shown on your image which might lend a clue, but to me there appear to be two different lines graphed, one in lighter green than the other, so it isn't a simple single ping graph).

      It is a ICMP ping(up/down)

attached new graph, we replaced the 3G router with a ADSL lineon the 26th of April. See the difference when we replaced it.

You are viewing about 14 days of data right? The plot is the average of the 0/1 values for those intervals. Zoom in for the actual values.

Watch the watermark in the lower left of the graph for "Data from Trends" or "Data from History".
