Hello all,
I noticed today that the support of user macros in the item name is deprecated since version 4 and is no longer supported.
I find this very strange and hope someone can show me a way to implement the following now.
I have a template with which I monitor Windows services
Name, description, process and trigger are controlled by UserMacros.
I can assign this template to a host and just need to fill in the macros.
It is logical that the name of the item has the value of the user macro.
Maybe I have overlooked some innovation....
How can I implement the above scenario?
The alternative here is that I create items for each host by hand -> But this takes a lot of time.
Thanks in Advance
