Zabbix script execution on device without Agent

Hi everyone.
I'm starting to use Zabbix and can't figure out how to run a script.

I report the logic in Nagios environment:
The Nagios core runs a bash script
The script performs some operations towards a remote IP (it is a router)
Based on the results obtained, the script returns an exit code to Nagios.

I can't figure out how to apply this logic using Zabbix.

I'm on the high seas so I'm asking for some advice from you experts.


Any advice will be invaluable.
