Zabbix 3.0 -- Event Acknowledgement -- Possible Bug.

Hi,

I only have 1 event configured. I only want to send an email when an event is acknowledged.

I do not get emails with this configuration, but if I switch is to "not acknowledged" then I get the emails.

Is this a bug?

What is the justification for having ACK in the action?

I've been using Zabbix for about 7 years now. I'd consider myself pretty proficient in zabbix, so I'd like a complete answer.

What is the jusification for having the option of "Acknowledged" if you can't really use it?

I'm having a hard time believing this is a non-supported thing. I think this is a bug and should be treated as such.
