    Vmware discovery tag filter

    Hi,
I wanted to have some automatic discovery 'rules' for different types of evnironment based on VM tags in vCenter.
In discovery section I've used LLD to map tags to [HASHTAG="t3961"]tags[/HASHTAG] macro (according to doc it's not defined as others) and apply some condition in Filters section. However it does not detect any machines in vCenter.

I've also add some Item with query vmware.vm.tags.get to check if they are at least present on any machine - and it throws me then an error that "Couln't connect to server".

Can you please provide some tips how can I configure vmware discovery based on tags and how can I troubleshoot what information are provided to Zabbix during discovery?

    Thanks!

I've managed to look into discovery json. And it seems tags property is empty - so not getting right information from vSphere. May it be caused by version, or some missing rights in vSphere?

        Hello,

I am trying to configure a similar VM discovery tag filter, but it still does not work. Have you managed to configure a tag filter for VM discovery?
