    AS400 Support?

Hi All, We were wondering if Zabbix still provides any kind of support for the AS400 environment, and how useful is it? The last time we looked at what was available the files that were available to be used were outdated and didn't support the newer version of AS400 OS. Also the reporting that was described in the plugin made it sound like it didn't provide much value. Could someone please share with us any knowlege they have of it.. TIA

Sorry, maybe I was'nt clear in the question above. We would like to monitor our AS400 environment , which is about 8 devices. We were not looking to run the Zabbix application on a as400 device. We would like to hear from someone that is doing it.

This appears to have been active as late as 6.0 https://github.com/zabbix/community-...agent_emulator

But that has a dead link. Found this https://assets.zabbix.com/files/zabc..._for_as400.pdf

I wonder if you could monitor via ssh? You could use simple and web checks too. It might be an interesting project, but there seem to be very few AS/400 people that admit to being AS/400 people. I forgot everything from System/36

Thanks Len, the second link really helps. It appears there is a as400 forum.

The second link is quite helpful, thanks to Len. It seems that an as400 forum exists.
