    Zabbix 2.4.2 MySQL Table Delete

An associate with a Zabbix installation has the following situation - while working with the MySQL 5.1 InnoDB database tables on disk that were supporting Zabbix 2.4.2 on a CentOS 5.5 server, the alerts.ibd file was accidentally zeroed/wiped -- all other tables were fine. After much moaning and gnashing of teeth, a new alerts table was created, once the various foreign keys were dropped and constraints added as appropriate. When the system came back up, everything looks suspiciously good.......

    Several questions:

    1. Where in the Zabbix interface/feature set will the missing alerts create an issue?

    2. What is the net effect of wiping all of the data in the alerts table, whilst the rest of the tables remain full of the original data?

    3. Is there any database maintenance work that needs to be performed to clear orphaned records, etc...?

    4. Are reports of any variety going to affected? If so, which ones?

Thank you in advance for any reply!
