    Zabbix & SBS2000

I am running the ZabbixW32 agent on a Microsoft SBS2000 server. Whenever I start the agent, processor utilization shoots up to 100%. Zabbix seems to be the culprate. Is there anything that I can do to prevent this? Is another process or something causing this to happen?

      Hi,

What Zabbix version are you running? Also, what Service Pack for SBS2000 do you have loaded as well as other patches?

Zabbix is v1.0 and SBS2000 is SP4 fully updated. Any ideas what it could be?

What port have you set your in your Windows32 Agent Config File to monitor? It is possible that this is the culprit, and that it is clashing with another application already using this port.

Try changing the port to a higher value in the config file. Don't forget that you will also need to change the port settings on the Zabbix server for that particular host as well.
