Zabbix agent blocks ejecting of removable device

    Hello everyone,

After upgrading from Zabbix Agent 3.0.32 to 6.0.14 I have troubles with removable RDX media. The RDX drive is no longer able to eject the media because the zabbix agent is accessing it.

I found out, that by restarting the zabbix agent, the media is ejected fine.

As I thought it's possible a Bug, I upgraded to Zabbix Agent 6.4.0 which didn't solve the problem.

What can I do to solve this problem? I would like to keep monitoring the media as it happens, that the drives run out of space.

    Thank you and kind regards

Is there something I can try? As the log has no relevant informations and I'm using the default template "Template OS Windows" I don't know what else I could provide to receive assistance.

Not familiar with RDX drives... But I suspect it has something to do with how OS mounts that drive and shows it out to "users"....

It's a Tandberg RDX QuikStor Mobile USB3+ Drive (8782-RDX). There are two configurations: the drive itself is hidden and the inserted Media acts like external Harddrives and the drive acts like a device with removable media (Floppy, CD, DVD, etc..).

I had no success with both modes as the agent seems to not release the file handles after reading metrics.
