Configure IPMI parameters through API

Hi,

I need to configure IPMI management attributes on a bunch of hosts but I can't find a method to do it via the API in the documentation. Is it a way to do it that I didn't find or should I do it manually please ?

If you insist on doing it over API, it is your choice...

But sometimes its easier to do it in GUI.. like ... one template to rule them all...

Thank you for your answer cyber, but I'm not trying to create IPMI items on several hosts via the API (I will indeed deploy a template for that), I actually wanted to configure the IPMI management attributes (Authentication algorithm, Privilege level, Username, Password) of several hundreds of hosts but I just found I can simply do it with the mass update....

I thought there was something odd... but for sure there is a place in host config API for that also https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ce/host/object
All the ipmi_* properties..

But I am sure mass update works even more easily..
