Updated to 6.4 and Ubuntu 22.04 and got bellow error with fping

    Hello,

I recently updated my zabbix implementation to 6.4, everything seems to work apart from the ping from 3 of my proxy servers which are in Ubuntu 22.04 now. The problem I get is this in the logs:

    192.168.75.200 : xmt/rcv/%loss = 1/0/100%
22419:20230403:170910.653 setting SO_TIMESTAMPNS option: Protocol not available
setting SO_TIMESTAMPNS option (IPv6): Protocol not available

and when I try to fping myself, I get this:

    fping -t 192.168.99.200
setting SO_TIMESTAMPNS option: Protocol not available
setting SO_TIMESTAMPNS option (IPv6): Protocol not available

This ubuntu is installed on a Windows server with ipv6 disabled, but before the OS upgrade on the ubuntu I didnt have this issue. There is something changed with the fping.

    Any clue anyone?

    Thanks

Resolved the issue by downgrading fping to 4.2. Most likely caused by servers being WSL images on windows servers. This topic can close!
