SNMP traps received but not sent to server

Hello,

I have Zabbix 5.4 and trying to enable the snmp trap server.
I downloaded and configured snmp, snmptrapd, zabbix_trap_receiver.pl
Restarted all related services in order to load current configs, zabbix_server is configured with the correct trap log file, snmp fallback items are correctly set
The trap log file correctly shows incoming traps from nodes, I can see them runtime whenever I send a test trap or a real trap is generated.
But I cannot find them in the web GUI.
What am I missing or what could I troubleshoot?

EDIT: not true, I can see the trap also from web GUI in the "latest data" section. So I suspect next step is to configure a trigger to make the trap visible also at the dashboard level?
