Create template with only triggers

I need to create template with only triggers. When template is applyed on host triggers takes items already existing in host. There is any way to do that?

I haven't tried this, but if the items are in another template (call it A), you should just be able to refer to that template from the trigger template (call it B), and when both this and that template are applied to a host, it should work. But you won't be able to apply "B" without "A" to a host.

But I didn't try it.

Zabbix will add your trigger to Tempate or Host depending on Item you choose for trigger.
did some testing myself before replying to you and created like 16 triggers and wondering why I don`t see them in my Template.
