Remove inventory controls from Zabbix 3.0.3

I am working on configuring and implementing a zabbix 3.0.3 monitoring scheme. The customer does not want to use the inventory controls that are built into zabbix. Is there a way to modify the frontend to remove the inventory tab from the top ribbon, or simply disable the inventory features of zabbix? Thank you.

Forgive me but disabling every feature of the software which someone is not (going) to use is a bit stupid and you should be not customizing software like zabbix on such level.

If you are not gong to map any metrics to inventory you will have just empty inventory .. and that is all.
