    Possibly, but it's going to depend upon what features you need. If you only need the agent, then there's a higher chance of success than if you need the server or web front end.

    Zabbix 3.0.x is old, so it's possible it's missing support for things that are newer in RHEL 9, such as
    • libssh2 isn't provided by RHEL 8 or 9
    • OpenSSL versions have changed significantly, it's possible encryption is going to be problematic
    • 3.0.4 doesn't know how to link with mariadb (by default, that could be worked around), so if you need MariaDB instead of MySQL, that could be some work.
    • The web interface for 3.0.x requires a much older version of PHP than what RHEL 9 includes (PHP 8.0), so the web interface definitely won't work.

    With some work I think it would be possible to get the agent to compile, possibly with limited features. I think it's going to be a lot more work for the server.
