Emails alerts goes out to only Super Admin role

    Hi,
When I create a new user with permission guest or user role and setup email media along with trigger action, no email alerts are send.
However when I change the same user permission to Admin or Super admin role, I get email alerts.

Is this normal or I am missing something?

I just wanted to create a user with no login or admin access but just to receive email alerts.

    Thank you,
    Ruban

Notifications to users are only sent about those hosts/triggers, what user can see. If you do not give any permissions to normal user (or even admin) then no notifications are sent, as they just do not have permissions for those. Superadmin sees everything by default, so notifications are sent.
So you need at least read permissions to (all needed) hostgroups for that user..

      That make sense.
Thank you for the quick response.
      I will look into it.
