Q: best practices / configs for monitoring XCP-ng and/or Xen Orchestra

Hi there,

has someone successfully integrated XCP-ng hypervisors or the Xen Orchestra application into the Zabbix monitoring? Where would I find more detailed information on how to do it? (the XCP-ng and XO resources are silent on that)

I know the reply might be a bit late. But I had the same issue that there was no template for XenOrchestra Monitoring. I just recently started to implement a Template. It's inspired what the VMWare Template does.
It discovers the Hypervisors, VMs and Storage Repositories for Hypervisors and VMs Hosts will be created. There are currently Triggers for a state change of a VM, Fill Warnings for Storage Repositories and Updates availability at the Hypervisors.

For VM Health Monitoring you still should use Zabbix-Agent running in the VMs.
