    Zabbix SMS not working after server reboot

    Hello, I'm very new to Zabbix and our old administrator left the company. On 5/17 we rebooted the Zabbix server due to a Canonical kernel live-patch update. The server restart appeared to be successful. Various teams within our company reported Zabbix was working as expected. We typically get multiple alert SMS text messages after hours but there were none after the reboot. Reviewed Media types and found SMS had a status of disabled in red. Enabled it but still no sms text messages. Is there some other place to check for why this is no longer working?

    First, Visit the trigger actions page to check if the relevant alarm action is enabled. If relevant alarm action is enabled, visit the media types page and check if the SMS media type is working. You can find the SMS media type and test its availability by clicking the test button. If it still not working, check your GSM modems.

      Try to send test SMS and check the server logs

        Check for any network-related issues, such as firewall rules or network configuration changes that may be blocking the outgoing SMS messages.
