    delay in host status

    Hello.
    Can anyone please help me.
I am using zabbix 6.7. I have monitor all my device with ICMP Ping. When device is DOWN, zabbix took too long to change the status of the device from UP to DOWN or vice versa.
I tried changing Update interval from 5m to 5s in the Template Module ICMP ping, but it is not working

What do you call "status of the device"?
A problem message? Or a change in the trigger state? Or "Latest data"? Or something else in the gui?

Maybe you should read some documentation...
    https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...al/definitions
    https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../config/events
    https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...onfig/triggers

    P.S.
The trigger operation is affected by the frequency of data collection (Update interval) and the parameters of the trigger function.

First, figure out how triggers work.
Secondly, to understand how this trigger is configured and when it is triggered and recovered.
Third, change the trigger formula according to your needs.
