    What does it mean "Interface GE1/0/1: Link down "

    Hello,

    I have a little question for this trigger
    I started adding my switch to my zabbix and this trigger started to show up only today.

    Does it mean the port is down and cable is plugged in ?
    Does it mean it was up before and now its down but not properly ?

    i'm asking because a have the trigger on dashboard for the port GE 1/0/1 but not for GE1/0/2 but the two of them are down.

    This situation can be for various reasons.
    If you really want to figure it out, start by reading the documentation to understand what triggers are, when they are triggered and how they are related to "events".

    You need to find out how the data comes in (how often? do they come at all?), what is the formula of the trigger and what are its settings?

      Thank for your answer, as i understand trigger activated when there is a change of status, thats why it activated for GE1/0/1 and not for 1/0/2.
      Trigger fires only if status was up before.
      I guess thats it;

      Hava great day !
