Hi Community,
we have tested serveral Agent Versions (RPM and self compiled) and we expect a massiv memory leak/usage after a few days (reproducable over several systems):
To measure we used pmap:
Before Agent Restart, Runtime 15 Days:
"RSS: resident set size in kilobytes"
--> Which is about 14,57 GB Memory Usage!
After Restart:
After 5min Runtime:
Reducing the Host Config to the Linux Host Template, the Memory Usage stay at about 30 MB.
* We have Tested the Same behavior on 6.4.1-3;
* Agent is in Active Mode
* Encrypted and Unencrypted Connections didnt make a difference
* PersistentBuffer Configuration, doesnt make any difference
--> Our conclusio sofar is, that is seams to be an issue during the log file monitoring handling; After just activating one logfile monitor, the agent memory rises, slow but constantly.
Do you have some ideas or suggestions what we can do or check?
